Job Details

5+ years of professional software development experience in Python or a statically typed language such as C#, Java, C++, or Rust.
Working knowledge of Python.
Experience designing and building cloud services, APIs, and data pipelines, including microservices and distributed systems.
Hands-on experience using AI coding agents to build and ship software and evaluate their output.
Experience leading feature or project delivery involving multiple engineers, from requirements definition through release.
Experience working on agile teams and delivering iteratively.
Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of security best practices, data protection, authentication, and secure coding.
Ability to work effectively on a fully remote team.
Hands-on experience with Azure, including Function Apps and containers, and data platforms such as Databricks, Delta Tables, PostgreSQL, or Azure Cosmos DB.
Experience with TypeScript, Vue.js, Bicep, Azure Pipelines, Azure DevOps, or Anthropic Claude is relevant to the listed technology stack.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
Cybersecurity industry experience or familiarity with common security practices and frameworks is preferred.

Partner with product to define requirements and success criteria, break work into iterative deliverables, and coordinate engineering contributions through release.
Design, implement, and optimize scalable Azure services and data pipelines using resiliency data from backup, hypervisor, EDR, and cloud sources.
Build reliable third-party API integrations that handle authentication, rate limits, pagination, and upstream data-format changes.
Use agentic coding tools in daily development and evaluate generated code for architecture, design, and logic.
Own key platform components and maintain their health, reliability, and maintainability through monitoring, logging, and proactive improvement.
Identify risks, dependencies, and technical unknowns during planning.
Mentor engineers, provide feedback, and participate in retrospectives and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teammates to deliver features on time.
