Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in Telecom Expense Management (TEM), telecom financial analysis, invoice auditing, expense reconciliation, and cost optimization.
- Strong background in financial forecasting, budget monitoring, variance analysis, and large-scale financial data management.
- Ability to analyze high volumes of telecom billing and expense data, identify discrepancies, and produce accurate financial reports.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data reconciliation, and financial analysis.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience with ServiceNow, PeopleSoft, and other financial or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Understanding of financial controls, budget compliance, vendor expense management, and contract utilization.
- Experience preparing expense reports, financial dashboards, forecasts, and management presentations.
- Ability to identify financial inefficiencies, recommend process improvements, and support cost-containment initiatives.
- Familiarity with telecom carrier services, cloud billing models, and IT service management practices is an advantage.
- Experience developing dashboards and automated reports using Excel or business intelligence tools is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize telecom expense management processes across mobile, landline, cloud, and data center services.
- Audit telecom invoices and review financial data to identify billing discrepancies, errors, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Compare vendor expenses with contract terms, negotiated rates, budgets, and actual service utilization.
- Prepare expense variance analyses, budget forecasts, financial summaries, and performance reports.
- Analyze telecom expense datasets and produce carrier reports to monitor spending patterns and identify trends or anomalies.
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reporting tools to track expenses against budgets, timelines, and allocated resources.
- Support forecasting by tracking planned versus actual expenditures, identifying variances, and coordinating unspent-fund rollover where applicable.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, Vendor Management, and Vendor Operations on telecom spending and budget requirements.
- Investigate financial discrepancies, validate data accuracy, and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
- Evaluate service utilization, recommend cost-containment opportunities, and improve expense-management workflows and controls.
