Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of PHP 7.4 and PHP 8.2.
- Practical knowledge of Symfony 4.x and 6.x.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, PSR standards, and dependency injection.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Doctrine, and RabbitMQ for data-intensive applications and asynchronous processing.
- Experience creating and integrating REST APIs, preferably with third-party services.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Experience using Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
- A proactive, organized, and dependable approach, with time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment and manage responsibilities independently.
- Preferred: experience developing and maintaining SaaS applications.
- Preferred: knowledge of e-commerce ecosystems and marketplace integrations, including Mercado Livre, Shopee, or Amazon.
- Preferred: familiarity with machine learning applications, large-scale data processing, or other data-intensive software systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using PHP and Symfony.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations with marketplaces, messaging services, and social media channels.
- Contribute to data-intensive applications using Elasticsearch, Doctrine, and RabbitMQ.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles, dependency injection, PSR standards, and clean coding practices.
- Collaborate with the development team and technical founders on system improvements, engineering challenges, and architectural decisions.
- Review code, write and maintain tests, and use static analysis tools.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and improve API reliability and performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve the codebase and development practices.
