Job Details

Strong professional software development experience, including responsibility for applications and features deployed to production.
Advanced hands-on proficiency in Java for backend development and React for frontend development.
Experience with Docker and containerization.
Familiarity with deploying applications to Microsoft Azure.
Strong knowledge of relational databases, including data modeling, querying, and performance optimization.
Practical experience with asynchronous processing and messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, or Apache Kafka.
Experience with non-relational databases and assessing their fit for specific use cases.
Daily experience with AI-assisted software development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
Experience consuming and integrating third-party APIs.
Ability to work independently, solve technical problems, and collaborate closely in a small team.
Nice to have: healthcare project experience involving sensitive data and Brazil's LGPD.
Nice to have: experience with MVP-stage products, legacy systems, monolithic architectures, or both Azure and AWS.

Participate in platform architecture decisions and document technical rationale.
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end features using Java and React.
Implement synchronous and asynchronous integration layers for services and external systems.
Build and maintain microservices that integrate with legacy platforms and monolithic applications.
Model, develop, and optimize relational and non-relational data persistence solutions.
Implement messaging and asynchronous processing workflows.
Write and maintain automated tests, participate in code reviews, and uphold software quality standards.
Investigate and resolve production issues to improve system stability and performance.
Use AI-assisted development tools and review generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.
Integrate third-party APIs and support reliable data exchange across connected systems.
