Requirements
- Bring strong full stack software development experience and the ability to work independently on existing systems.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in React and TypeScript, including hooks, state management, component architecture, and API integration.
- Have strong experience with Python and FastAPI, including Pydantic validation and asynchronous programming.
- Know AWS services, particularly S3, Athena, Glue, and Secrets Manager.
- Have strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills, including data modeling, indexing, query optimization, and performance troubleshooting.
- Have experience with SQLAlchemy and database migrations; Alembic is preferred.
- Have experience importing, transforming, and processing structured data, including CSV, Excel, and high-volume datasets.
- Be familiar with DuckDB, Polars, Pandas, PyArrow, and Parquet.
- Have experience with pipelines, scheduled jobs, and asynchronous processes, including idempotency, retries, and reprocessing strategies.
- Know OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and role-based or other access-control mechanisms.
- Have practical experience implementing and maintaining automated frontend and backend tests.
- Be familiar with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, logging, and production diagnostics.
- Experience with Kubernetes, particularly Amazon EKS, is valuable; familiarity with Azure Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID integrations is also noted.
- Use AI-powered tools to improve development workflows and support technical decision-making.
- Financial reconciliation, financial markets, team leadership, MUI, Zustand, Vitest, and React Testing Library are additional advantages.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end features across frontend interfaces, backend APIs, data persistence, and business logic.
- Build responsive React and TypeScript interfaces, including data tables, filters, forms, dashboards, and asynchronous process monitoring.
- Develop and maintain Python and FastAPI APIs and integrations with validation, asynchronous processing, and reliable business rules.
- Contribute to a financial reconciliation platform supporting data imports, transformations, pipeline execution, discrepancy management, dashboards, and access control.
- Design and improve AWS architectures with attention to performance, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.
- Build integrations with internal systems, files, and external data sources, including CSV and Excel imports and large datasets.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, SQL queries, indexes, and data models.
- Develop scheduled jobs, pipelines, and asynchronous workflows with idempotency, reliable retries, and safe reprocessing.
- Investigate production incidents using logs, collaborate with business teams, and implement solutions addressing root causes.
- Implement authentication, authorization, access controls, automated tests, and delivery practices using Git, Docker, and CI/CD.
