Job Details

Have senior-level experience in PHP development, including strong WordPress backend development and custom plugin creation expertise.
Have experience developing or customizing applications within Invision Community (IPS).
Have strong knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB, including queries, data management, and optimization.
Have proven experience building and maintaining custom API integrations between multiple platforms.
Be able to develop batch scripts for bulk processing, automated operations, and data-related tasks.
Have hands-on experience with Git and version control best practices.
Be familiar with no-code/low-code automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, or ActiveCampaign.
Be able to use AI assistants for prompting, coding, debugging, and productivity, and independently review and validate their output.
Have working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for basic frontend integrations.
Have English proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
Have experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and Memberium.
Be familiar with PHPUnit and automated testing.
Know SSH, Linux environments, and Apache/nginx server administration.
Have experience integrating payment solutions through the Stripe API.
Be familiar with ClickUp or similar project management tools.

Develop, maintain, and enhance backend functionality for WordPress-based membership platforms using custom PHP and plugin development.
Build and customize applications within Invision Community (IPS), including backend logic, integrations, and database functionality.
Design, implement, and maintain API integrations connecting more than 30 third-party tools and services.
Write and optimize batch scripts for bulk operations, data processing, and system maintenance.
Create and improve automated workflows using no-code/low-code platforms such as Zapier, Make, and marketing automation tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve backend bugs caused by plugin updates, vendor changes, and existing technical debt.
Maintain platform stability, security, and performance through proactive monitoring and optimization.
Work with the Head of Development to manage technical tasks and reduce operational workload.
Coordinate with support teams, external vendors, and infrastructure contacts to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
Use AI-powered coding assistants while reviewing and validating the resulting code.
