Requirements
- Hold a required 4-year business or technical degree.
- Have 5 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3 years with a master’s degree in business, sales, finance, or engineering.
- Bring relevant product or industry experience; this is desired.
- Understand competitors and their offerings, and provide cross-reference information and tools.
- Be able to work with engineering and sales teams.
- Demonstrate business acumen and the ability to build relationships in complex matrix environments.
- Have organizational skills and a commitment to business growth and success.
- Demonstrate communication and presentation skills, including the ability to simplify complex concepts.
Responsibilities
- Develop market and competitive insights, segment strategies, value propositions, product roadmaps, and go-to-market plans.
- Work with R&D and operations to develop products that meet customer requirements and cost targets.
- Define roadmap resource needs and align sales, technology, operations, and financial goals.
- Set target costs and pricing policies, develop annual sales and margin plans, and build relationships with key customers.
- Champion new product opportunities, negotiate business terms, and support customer meetings.
- Plan product launches and coordinate marketing and sales plans, collateral, training, and demand forecast inputs.
- Manage portfolio sales and margins, pricing requests, and product lifecycle strategy.
- Track performance against business plans and resolve gaps and product issues, including quality and delivery.
