Requirements
- Have 1–2 years of professional research experience on clinical topics.
- Have experience reading and examining academic literature on medical subjects.
- Be able to quickly master complex clinical content in depth and breadth.
- Be able to execute research projects autonomously.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Preferred: hold a master's degree requiring research in a related field.
- Preferred: be willing to work MST hours.
Responsibilities
- Create tailored documents that help patients understand information relevant to their specific situations.
- Collaborate with oncology nurse navigators to teach patients what they need to know.
- Respond to patient support needs through the team's on-demand research work.
- Identify gaps in the team's research base while serving patients.
- Conduct research deep dives to fill gaps in the research base.
- Update research to reflect changes in diagnostics, treatment protocols, and techniques.
