Requirements
- Bring 10+ years of experience in software testing or quality engineering.
- Have 5+ years of senior engineering leadership experience leading teams across complex products.
- Demonstrate the ability to own quality strategy and reliability outcomes across multiple teams.
- Have deep expertise in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, and RestAssured.
- Have experience with Java, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Understand CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Harness CI/CD.
- Have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Have hands-on experience building AI/ML-based testing tools that improve coverage and productivity.
- Have grounding in performance testing, security testing, and other non-functional quality attributes.
- Have experience architecting test strategies for microservices, distributed systems, and mobile platforms.
- Preferred: Experience testing high-transaction SaaS platforms such as CRM, payments, automation, email, or fintech products.
- Preferred: Experience building and testing AI products using Agentic AI, including evaluation frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Own the quality engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap across Commerce & Payments product lines.
- Establish quality gates, release readiness criteria, and CI/CD integration into quality processes.
- Embed testability into design reviews and use production observability to improve quality.
- Conduct architectural reviews to identify scalability, reliability, and performance risks.
- Evaluate and select tooling, frameworks, and platforms for automation across teams.
- Lead AI adoption for quality engineering, including coverage, productivity, and defect prediction.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and Security leadership on quality and release objectives.
- Report quality metrics and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Define and monitor quality and productivity KPIs and OKRs.
- Mentor SDET Managers and Leads and lead succession planning.
