Requirements
- Have solid experience as a data analyst or BI analyst.
- Bring strong hands-on SQL skills for querying, validating, and reconciling data.
- Have hands-on experience building or validating reports and dashboards in Power BI or a comparable enterprise BI tool.
- Have experience with a data-quality or reconciliation framework or methodology, such as dbt tests, Great Expectations, or structured manual reconciliation.
- Have experience working with accounting data and closed-period reconciliation constraints.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and clear written documentation of data quality findings.
- Be fluent in English at B2 level.
- Cloud data warehouse experience is preferred; Snowflake is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define and run data quality checks and reconciliation logic against the curated data layer, comparing results with approved Finance benchmarks and closed accounting periods.
- Validate migrated and re-pointed reports and dashboards against their prior legacy-source output, including parallel-run comparisons during cutover.
- Profile and investigate data quality issues and reconciliation variances with Data Engineering, and document root causes.
- Build and maintain data quality dashboards or reports in Power BI or an equivalent BI tool.
- Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and quality thresholds for reporting deliverables.
- Produce reconciliation results, parallel-run comparisons, and sign-off packages required at delivery gates.
- Document data quality rules and known issues for the client's team to maintain after handoff.
