Experience: 5-8 years professional experience in relevant technology and projects

Have 5-8 years of professional experience in relevant technology and projects.
Write complex T-SQL queries from scratch to validate data, including joins, duplicate checks, key analysis, and reconciliation.
Have experience testing ETL and data warehouses, including source-to-target validation, transformations, data completeness, and end-to-end flows.
Understand QA methodology, including test cases, test plans, test strategy, positive and negative testing, performance and load testing, and data completeness testing.
Have hands-on experience with SQL Server, data warehouses, SSRS, and Power BI.
Be comfortable validating BI and report output against SQL queries; report building is not required.
Have experience leading and executing automated testing for web and mobile applications and using industry-standard tools across the software development lifecycle.
Have experience presenting technical and business value to client stakeholders and articulating project business outcomes.
Have coaching and mentoring experience, including ad-hoc collaboration and structured code reviews.
Relevant education may include a computer science or software engineering bachelor's degree, intensive programs, or equivalent experience.
Azure data sources, SSAS cubes, version control, and deeper Power BI/Fabric or modeling experience are bonuses.

Perform automated testing and API testing for complex applications and scenarios.
Validate source-to-target data, transformations, data completeness, and end-to-end flows against specifications and mapping documents.
Test SSRS and Power BI output against SQL queries.
Identify and document edge cases, assess risks, and propose modifications to acceptance criteria.
Plan and prioritize testing efforts to support sprint commitments and delivery.
Document testing plans, anticipated risks, blockers, and metrics, and advance testing best practices.
Present testing plans, metrics, insights, and recommendations to clients and sprint review stakeholders.
Coach and mentor peers and more junior team members, and participate in recruiting interviews.
