Requirements
- Demonstrate an exceptional academic track record from high school and university.
- Hold a degree in law, JD, or equivalent.
- Have an active licence to practise law or be currently progressing toward one.
- Demonstrate commercial judgment and a track record of going above and beyond expectations.
- Bring strong organisational and prioritisation skills for a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrate a passion for technology through personal initiatives and projects.
- Have professional, business-level written and spoken English, with excellent drafting and presentation skills.
- Travel internationally two to four times a year for company events of up to two weeks.
- Commercial transactions, intellectual property, or corporate law experience is valued.
- Experience on an in-house legal team or at a law firm is valued.
- Understanding of open source software and the technology industry is valued.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts with customers and vendors in multiple countries.
- Provide legal support to internal clients across the company, including the sales organisation.
- Interface with cross-functional teams to support company initiatives.
- Use the contract management system to maintain accurate data for signed contracts.
- Work with local counsel in multiple countries to seek and implement advice.
