Requirements

  • Have 1-4 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Have experience in securities, funds, or asset management law at a reputable law firm or financial institution.
  • Demonstrate excellent contract drafting skills.
  • Have excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
  • Mandarin proficiency is ideal.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal support on asset management, securities brokerage, and wealth management activities across the region.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate fund constitutive documents.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate investment management, distribution, brokerage, and trading agreements, including ISDA, futures, and options agreements.
  • Review client-facing and marketing materials for funds, portfolios, and wealth management products for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Monitor regulatory developments.
  • Update internal policies and templates.
  • Deliver training to business and support teams on securities and asset management legal issues.
