Requirements
- Demonstrated hands-on experience developing backend applications and enterprise software using Java.
- Practical experience with Spring Boot or the broader Spring ecosystem.
- Ability to design, develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, service-to-service communication, and scalable distributed applications.
- Experience with relational databases, SQL queries, and application data management.
- Strong programming, debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business objectives and technical specifications into software implementations.
- Cloud platform experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Kafka, messaging platforms, or event-driven architecture is beneficial.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, production operations, Linux environments, or batch processing is preferred.
- Experience in financial services, payments, healthcare, or other regulated industries is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise backend applications and services using Java and relevant frameworks.
- Build, enhance, and integrate RESTful APIs for applications, services, and external systems.
- Develop and maintain scalable microservices and distributed applications.
- Use relational databases and SQL to design queries, manage data access, and support efficient processing.
- Write production-quality code, identify and resolve defects, and implement testing practices.
- Enhance, refactor, and modernize existing enterprise applications and backend infrastructure.
- Support application development and deployment in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability, security, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and developers to deliver software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous improvement; support messaging, CI/CD, and batch processing where applicable.
