Requirements
- Have 5+ years of product management experience in data platforms, data infrastructure, developer tools, or adjacent technical products.
- Bring technical depth in metadata, data contracts, or data quality.
- Be able to read a schema and evaluate readiness claims and documentation quality.
- Be comfortable running a multi-team migration with a scoreboard, dates, and named owners.
- Drive alignment across teams without direct authority.
- Drive readiness work with domain teams whose roadmaps you depend on.
- Build for both human builders who need discovery and documentation and AI agents that need machine-readable contracts and guardrails.
- Explain readiness decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Identify the next constraint without waiting for direction.
Responsibilities
- Own the data catalog, including domain onboarding, metadata and documentation standards, data quality signals, and search and discovery.
- Run the AI-ready domain program, including its assessment bar, migration sequence, and dated plan.
- Sequence catalog population based on consumption demand and the needs of AI features.
- Partner with the canonical data model owner so catalog entries conform to entity definitions.
- Publish per-domain readiness status, including each domain’s state, blocker, and date.
- Own the context and signal surfaces agents use, including standards for which signals agents may use.
- Work with legal and security counterparts on data classification, consent boundaries, and requirements for AI agent consumption.
