Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on software development experience.
- 5+ years in solutions engineering, integration engineering, technical implementation, solutions architecture, or technical product ownership.
- Direct experience working with external customers or partners.
- Demonstrated track record of leading third-party integrations from discovery through production.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, authentication methods, JSON, XML, flat files, and integration patterns.
- SQL proficiency for data investigation, integration validation, and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of software development sufficient to read and reason about application code and independently assess technical feasibility.
- Experience writing clear technical requirements, specifications, and customer-facing documentation.
- Proficiency using AI-assisted tools, such as Claude or equivalent agentic platforms, to produce specifications, documentation, and diagrams.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent partner integrations with limited direction and drive outcomes through influence.
- Preferred familiarity with claims, lending, underwriting, healthcare billing, or legal-tech data flows, and standards such as X12 837/835, HL7, or FHIR.
- Preferred familiarity with Postman or Swagger/OpenAPI, Microsoft SQL Server, C#, .NET, Entity Framework, React or Angular, Anthropic API, Claude, MCP, Claude Code, Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, and diagramming tools.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical contact for partners integrating with Libra to submit claims for processing, underwriting, and funding.
- Lead technical discovery to understand partner systems, workflows, data, and constraints, and define integration scope, approach, risks, and sequencing.
- Explain integration requirements, timelines, and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders and work through API design, payloads, data mapping, authentication, and error handling with technical counterparts.
- Design practical integration solutions and recommend patterns suited to each partner’s technical maturity.
- Investigate system behavior using API calls, database queries, logs, and code review to troubleshoot issues and establish accurate baselines.
- Translate customer needs into engineering-ready requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, data flows, and integration specifications.
- Use AI-assisted tools to produce specifications, integration guides, diagrams, and customer-facing documentation, and validate the output.
- Own integration plans and keep parties aligned on status, next steps, and blockers.
- Drive work across product, engineering, underwriting, and operations teams; validate integrations before go-live and support launch and stabilization.
- Contribute to the integration knowledge base and recommend improvements to APIs, documentation, and onboarding.
