Have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience across frontend and backend.
Demonstrate strong TypeScript proficiency; TypeScript is the primary language for the role.
Have experience with multiple frontend frameworks, such as React, Svelte, or Vue.
Be familiar with lightweight API frameworks such as Hono, Express, or Fastify.
Have deep Postgres experience, including indexing, query optimization, and schema design.
Be familiar with event-driven architectures and message queues.
Use AI coding assistants daily and have developed workflows that improve speed.
Have hands-on experience with frontier LLMs beyond surface-level prompting.
Take a spec-driven approach and define work precisely before implementation.
Have experience with Expo/React Native.

Build and ship features across frontend and backend systems.
Use Next.js, SvelteKit, and Hono according to the problem being solved.
Design Postgres schemas and optimize queries.
Write TypeScript for React or Svelte frontends and Hono or Node.js backend services.
Contribute Python services where appropriate.
Write technical specifications defining APIs, data models, and UI behavior before coding.
Use AI-assisted development tools to increase velocity and code quality.
Collaborate with product and design to turn requirements into working software.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning.
Improve developer experience through tooling, documentation, and automation.
