Requirements
- Have 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Have production experience with Vue.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Have PostgreSQL experience covering schema design, SQL, and query performance.
- Have JVM experience; Scala is preferred.
- Have experience building REST APIs and integrating with third-party systems.
- Have experience with Git-based workflows, code review, and automated testing.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues and, when needed, customers.
- MongoDB experience is a plus.
- Android or Xamarin experience is a plus.
- ERP integration experience, such as with SYSPRO, Microsoft Dynamics 365, VAI, or NCR, is a plus.
- Document management, OCR, or AI document capture experience is a plus.
- Experience with manufacturing, distribution, or food and beverage software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build front-end and back-end features for NG and SMRTR TRAC using Vue, TypeScript, Node.js, and Scala/JVM.
- Design PostgreSQL data models and queries, with attention to performance; work with some MongoDB.
- Fix defects and improve product reliability.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations between NG / SMRTR TRAC and ERP systems such as SYSPRO, Microsoft Dynamics 365, VAI, and NCR.
- Contribute to AI document capture, including classification and data extraction, and the print-to-NG driver.
- Turn requirements from Professional Services, Sales, and customers into working software.
- Estimate tasks and deliver to agreed dates.
- Support go-lives and troubleshoot production issues.
- Write tested, reviewed, and secure code in a GitHub-based workflow with CI/CD.
- Write technical documentation and release notes, and use AI-assisted development tools.
