Requirements
- Have experience with Go and a right-tool-for-the-job mentality.
- Have a deep understanding of designing and building distributed systems.
- Be familiar with cloud and containerisation technologies.
- Be familiar with test automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Value clean code and software engineering best practice.
- Be interested in owning projects end-to-end and supporting them in production.
- Be comfortable working on complex critical software where high performance and robustness are essential.
- Be willing to collaborate with others and share knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement US payments gateway functionality in Go according to product requirements and technical architecture.
- Build payment flows, scheme-specific behaviours, error handling, validation, and operational requirements.
- Write comprehensive automated integration tests for the new functionality.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other functions to refine requirements and validate implementation choices.
- Contribute design proposals, implementation plans, and problem-solving within the Form3 platform architecture.
- Support resilience, performance, disaster recovery, failure-mode testing, and operational readiness.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, telemetry, and observability from development through production.
- Prepare releases, validate changes, deploy to production, and resolve post-launch issues.
- Produce and maintain design notes, testing documentation, deployment guidance, operational procedures, and runbooks.
