Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science or a related field with exposure to AI/ML.
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, software engineering, or AI security.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with relevant ML and/or agentic frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with agents in production.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with end-to-end ownership.
- Ability to pick up programming languages and technologies as needed to ship scalable, reliable software.
- Highly desired: PhD in Computer Science or a related field focused on AI/ML or similar.
- Highly desired: hands-on experience in agent orchestration, agent harnesses, agent teams, jailbreaking or prompt injection, red teaming, data poisoning or evasion attacks, secure model deployment or sandboxing, or AI misuse detection and monitoring.
- Experience contributing to open-source projects is highly desired.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is highly desired.
- Cybersecurity experience is a plus, but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a small technical team while remaining involved in hands-on engineering and research.
- Set technical direction, break down ambiguous problems, and establish plans for fast, high-quality execution.
- Create agentic capabilities, including frameworks for monitoring, guardrailing, and evaluating agents.
- Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model fine-tuning.
- Iterate on prototypes and features based on feedback and evolving product needs.
- Work with Product and Research to translate AI research into features and software engineering projects.
- Contribute production-ready code and technical designs across engineering.
- Deliver scalable, reliable software.
