Requirements
- Have 8+ years of experience working with third-party contract manufacturers.
- Bring leadership experience in a manufacturing facility or comparable production environment.
- Have experience in consumer goods manufacturing.
- Have strong knowledge of production processes, systems and vendor relationship management.
- Have hands-on experience with ready-to-drink manufacturing and gummy or softgel manufacturing.
- Be able to diagnose production issues, manage multiple work streams and drive improvements through external partners and cross-functional teams.
- A degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
- Be willing to travel up to 40%.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day performance of contract manufacturers across varying form factors and products.
- Monitor production plans, capacity and shipment readiness, and address risks to supply.
- Partner with Quality to uphold product specifications, manufacturing standards and compliance requirements.
- Investigate production or product variation, identify root causes with manufacturing partners and drive corrective actions.
- Translate product requirements into repeatable manufacturing processes to support development, enhancements and commercialization.
- Transfer and scale manufacturing processes across partners and facilities while maintaining product quality and execution consistency.
- Identify and implement improvements to yield, efficiency, cost and manufacturing reliability.
- Support supplier contract negotiations and manage partner relationships, business reviews and commitments.
- Track and report manufacturing metrics through daily, weekly and monthly operating reviews.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Product Development, Quality, Finance, Marketing and Customer Experience to align priorities and launch readiness.
