- Law degree (LLB, JD or equivalent).
- At least 2 years of experience in document review, litigation support, legal research or paralegal work.
- Excellent written and spoken English, including the ability to write precise, professional summaries.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail across large document sets.
- Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.
- Comfort using legal research platforms and document management systems.
- Reliable internet connection.
- Availability for at least 3–4 hours that overlap with U.S. business hours.
- Bar admission in your own country is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collect, organize and index case records into a structured, searchable review set.
- Find and prioritize the meetings, documents and time periods relevant to the matter.
- Load and prepare documents for AI review tools, write and refine search prompts, and check AI output for accuracy and missing items.
- Conduct first-level document review and tag documents for relevance, key issues, and privilege or confidentiality concerns.
- Build chronologies, fact summaries, issue memos and indexes of key documents, citing the source for every point.
- Conduct background legal and factual research as directed and summarize findings in plain English.
- Maintain version control and an audit trail of what was reviewed, how, and what was found.
- Join regular check-ins with the project lead and U.S. counsel and revise work based on feedback.
