Job Details

Solid experience with Go, Rust, Python, or similar programming languages.
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience working with large distributed systems.
Experience taking projects from gathering requirements and brainstorming through shipping a product to customers.
Experience developing software that runs in the cloud or experience with systems engineering.
Experience writing clean, robust, performant software that is maintainable by others.
Ability to work independently in a remote team setup.
Grafana and Prometheus experience in operational roles is a bonus.
Familiarity with on-call work, operations or SRE tasks, or infrastructure as code is a bonus.

Develop features for Grafana’s next-generation storage layer, Unified Storage, Search, and Folders.
Operate Unified Storage at scale within Grafana Cloud.
Drive projects from initial ideation through operations after customer release.
Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems, owning reliability, performance, and availability.
Participate in team on-call rotations and take ownership of the services you run.
Contribute to open-source projects beyond the team’s direct scope.
Influence the roadmap and iterate on features using their results.
Mentor and support team members and participate in design discussions.
