Requirements
- Have solid experience with Go, Rust, Python, or a similar programming language.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and experience working with large distributed systems.
- Have experience delivering projects from gathering requirements and brainstorming through shipping to customers.
- Have experience developing software that runs in the cloud or experience with systems engineering.
- Write clean, robust, performant software that is maintainable by others.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems, owning their reliability, performance, and availability.
- Develop features for Grafana’s Unified Storage, Search, and Folders systems.
- Drive projects from ideation through operations after they reach customers.
- Work with the team to deliver new features and iterate based on results.
- Contribute to open-source projects beyond the team’s direct scope.
- Participate in team on-call rotations and take ownership of the services you run.
- Mentor and support teammates, participate in design discussions, and collaborate with the team.
