Requirements
- Demonstrated software development experience, including writing, debugging, and maintaining production-quality code.
- Hands-on programming experience in Rust or Go, with the ability to demonstrate effective implementation and problem-solving.
- Experience designing, building, or implementing security systems, with demonstrated understanding of security considerations in technical design.
- Experience reviewing security systems, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and evaluating technical risks.
- Preferred: a portfolio of engineering work, including publicly accessible code contributions or repositories.
- Preferred: engagement with security engineering through technical work, research, or security-focused projects.
- Preferred: experience identifying system weaknesses, attack paths, and potential improvements.
- Preferred: experience developing and shipping security products and explaining implementation decisions and technical tradeoffs.
- Preferred: experience developing or reviewing systems within Web3 or blockchain environments.
- Preferred: ownership of large engineering projects or experience leading small technical teams.
- Preferred: hands-on security engineering experience for AI pipelines or AI-based systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain security systems that strengthen the security of Chainlink's products.
- Identify security vulnerabilities and potential attack paths through technical reviews of existing systems.
- Improve the reliability and maintainability of security-focused software through implementation and testing.
- Evaluate security risks and engineering tradeoffs to inform technical decisions and reduce potential vulnerabilities.
- Deliver security engineering solutions from implementation through deployment, incorporating findings from technical reviews.
