Requirements
- Have at least 5 years of security engineering experience.
- Bring recent hands-on product or application security experience at a B2B SaaS or fintech company.
- Have production Go experience building services or security systems.
- Have Python experience for detection and triage automation.
- Have experience building or contributing to security programs in early-stage or 0-to-1 environments.
- Be experienced as a security generalist working across teams.
- Have hands-on detection engineering and incident response experience, including SIEM or detection-as-code tools such as Splunk, Panther, or Sigma.
- Have experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
- Have cloud and Kubernetes security experience; GCP is preferred.
- Be familiar with OAuth, SAML, OIDC, WebAuthn, identity and access management, or enterprise IT and security software.
Responsibilities
- Own security across the product lifecycle, partnering with engineering from design through implementation.
- Build security systems for secrets management, certificate infrastructure, audit logging, and vulnerability management.
- Lead security reviews, threat modeling, secure design consultations, and in-product vulnerability remediation.
- Develop detection capabilities and support triage.
- Mature incident response processes.
- Drive security compliance from an engineering perspective, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
- Contribute across product security, corporate security, and compliance.
