Requirements
- Have 2-5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure, including services such as Azure Databricks, Data Lake, Fabric, Azure Synapse, and Azure OpenAI.
- Bring expert knowledge of data management, business intelligence, and analytics concepts.
- Understand ETL, data warehousing, data lakes, data marts, data stores, and cubes.
- Understand data quality and profiling, data governance, master data management, and metadata management.
- Understand data visualization, dashboards, reporting, self-service BI, KPIs, and scorecards.
- Understand predictive, prescriptive, and descriptive analytics.
- Bring expert knowledge of the Microsoft BI stack, including Power BI, Excel, and SQL Server (SSAS, SSRS, SSIS).
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is desired.
- Azure Data Estate experience, Azure ML Studio/Services, advanced SQL, relational and dimensional database knowledge, and experience with R, Python, or algorithms are listed as pluses.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical work using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Implement solutions with Microsoft Power BI and related technologies.
- Leverage data warehouses, data marts, and data models for business, financial, and operational analysis and reporting.
- Develop reliable, scalable solutions and perform data analysis to support and enhance Information Management systems.
- Author, oversee, and obtain approval for project design documents.
- Develop reports, dashboards, scorecards, data exploration, and visual analytics.
- Design and develop solutions independently or as part of a team.
- Assist the business development team with presales activities and RFPs.
- Provide feedback and coaching to team members addressing technology challenges.
- Demonstrate emerging technologies and concepts to teams.
