Bring extensive back-end development experience and a track record of leading technical deliveries end to end and building solutions from scratch.
Have strong proficiency in Java, including recent versions such as Java 21 and Java 25, and hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
Have practical experience with Node.js and JavaScript, particularly developing and maintaining Backend for Frontend (BFF) layers.
Have experience with MongoDB and asynchronous messaging systems such as AWS SQS.
Have hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Have strong knowledge of RESTful API design and integration, microservices architecture, and software design patterns.
Have experience writing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests and producing clean, maintainable, reliable code.
Actively use AI-powered coding assistants and generative AI tools such as Kiro, Amazon Q, or equivalent solutions.
Work independently with minimal supervision, show initiative, solve complex problems, and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Advantageous: experience with AI-integrated back-end features, automation workflows, or intelligent agents, including Google ADK or similar frameworks.
Advantageous: knowledge of secure data handling and privacy practices for AI-powered solutions.
Advantageous: experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitLab CI.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services using Java and Node.js, including Backend for Frontend (BFF) layers.
Lead technical development from initial conception through production delivery, balancing business priorities with technical debt reduction.
Apply Clean Code, SOLID principles, design patterns, and unit and integration testing practices.
Develop and operate cloud-based solutions using AWS, containerization, and microservices architectures.
Design, implement, and consume RESTful APIs, and work with MongoDB and asynchronous messaging such as AWS SQS.
Monitor production application performance and improve observability, resilience, API security, and data protection.
Integrate generative AI assistants into development workflows for coding, testing, documentation, and problem-solving.
Partner with Product and Front-end teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and communicate trade-offs.
Resolve technical challenges and recommend improvements to performance, reliability, and business value.
