Requirements
- Have at least three years of experience delivering utility-scale solar or battery storage projects.
- Bring experience in preconstruction.
- Have experience managing budgets.
- Have experience managing schedules.
- PPA milestone management experience is preferred.
- Experience with utility and ISO interconnection agreements is preferred.
- EPCA negotiation and administration experience is preferred.
- Experience working with finance on lender reporting during procurement and construction is preferred.
- A degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, the sciences, finance, or business is considered; candidates who believe they can do the job are encouraged to apply.
- Be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with EPCs on engineering and construction progress, track project schedules, and oversee document submittals at key contract milestones.
- Report project progress statistics to senior management during steering committee calls.
- Manage budgets, review and approve invoices, advance project transactions, and coordinate financial reporting with project controls.
- Work with engineering and procurement to confirm critical equipment specifications.
- Lead RFPs for construction services and negotiate price and commercial terms.
- Consolidate EPCA comments and exhibits, lead closing calls, maintain the exhibits tracker, and negotiate the statement of values through NTP.
- Manage utility and ISO interconnection agreements against the construction schedule.
- Work with business development and finance to identify acquisition execution risks and provide lenders with procurement and construction information.
- Report PPA milestones, track schedule risks, and hold vendors and contractors accountable.
- Reconcile project schedules, costs, and contract records through Final Completion.
