Experience: 7+ years in accounting and/or FP&A, ideally with experience in both.

Have 7+ years of experience in accounting and/or FP&A, ideally including both.
Have hands-on ownership of month-end close under GAAP.
Have experience with revenue recognition for service businesses.
Have strong modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including SUMIFS, lookups, and driver-based models.
Have experience in professional services, agencies, or SaaS, where margins are driven by people and time.
Have strong English communication skills.
Multi-entity or multi-currency accounting experience is a plus.
Experience building client or project profitability reporting is a plus.
Familiarity with NetSuite or a similar ERP and time-tracking tools such as Harvest is a plus.
Comfort using AI tools to speed up analysis and reporting is a plus.

Own the month-end close, including revenue recognition, accruals, prepaids, reconciliations, and the close calendar.
Manage recurring, project, and variable revenue, including mid-month starts, churn, offering swaps, and prorations.
Manage the accountant and oversee AP, AR, payroll entries, and multi-country compliance.
Maintain documented, audit-ready books with strong internal controls and reconciliations.
Oversee billing accuracy and collections in partnership with account teams.
Maintain monthly client and divisional P&Ls, allocating staff costs, direct COGS, and overhead.
Track gross margin and EBITDA targets, flag performance changes, and explain their causes.
Assist with the budget, rolling forecast, variance analysis, and monthly results presentations.
Model new-client economics, hiring timing, and utilization to support pricing and capacity planning.
Report on revenue KPIs and automate and improve reporting.
