Requirements
- Have 4 to 6 years of professional software development experience.
- Have hands-on, day-to-day experience with AI coding agents such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code, including configuration and rule/instruction management.
- Have experience building agentic workflows, MCP servers, or custom AI tooling.
- Be willing to work with legacy technologies such as COBOL, Delphi, PowerBuilder, FoxPro, and WinDev.
- Have solid experience with at least one modern stack, ideally C#/.NET and/or React, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
- Have experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Have practical experience writing automated unit, integration, and/or end-to-end tests.
- Be familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile practices.
- Be fluent in English; French and/or Spanish is a plus.
- Bring curiosity, a learning mindset, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to share knowledge and collaborate across teams.
Responsibilities
- Use AI coding agents in development, testing, documentation, and code review, and configure team rules, instructions, prompt libraries, context files, and reusable workflows.
- Share effective AI practices through demos, pair-programming sessions, and internal workshops.
- Identify repetitive tasks that can be accelerated with agentic approaches and propose practical improvements.
- Develop, maintain, and improve applications across modern and legacy technologies, including C#/.NET, COBOL, Delphi, PowerBuilder, FoxPro, and WinDev.
- Use AI agents to analyze, document, and explain legacy code, business rules, and data flows.
- Contribute to legacy modernization and migration work while helping ensure business logic carries over correctly.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend and frontend features, and help shape modern-stack architecture.
- Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments to build and deploy work.
- Build and maintain a shared knowledge base, collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams, and mentor less experienced engineers.
