Requirements
- Have 2+ years of professional, hands-on test automation experience.
- Have experience with API and UI test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Mocha, Jest, or JUnit.
- Be fluent in at least one of JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Have experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
- Have a strong understanding of scalable system design for web-based APIs and backend processing systems.
- Have an in-depth understanding of QA methodologies in a software company with short release cycles.
- Have experience writing test cases covering edge and negative cases, compatibility, and concurrency in test case management tools such as TestRail.
- Have experience working with relational databases.
- Have hands-on experience with SQL and the ability to query large data sets.
Responsibilities
- Develop in-house automated and functional test scripts and tooling for functional, system, API, integration, UI, and regression testing.
- Collaborate with Platform, Product, DevOps, and other teams to deploy and run automated tests on test environments with CI/CD.
- Provide timely test-result feedback to the Platform Team, the QA team, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in technical planning, code review, and architectural decision-making.
