Job Details

Bring 10+ years of experience evolving existing apps and standing up new ones across product and technical dimensions.
Have significant mobile software engineering experience with Principal/Staff-level scope.
Have experience with both iOS and Android.
Be willing to work outside the mobile ecosystem when the problem calls for it.
Have hands-on experience shipping substantial work with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
Have an opinion on how to design a software development lifecycle around AI coding agents.
Have system architecture experience, including backend API design, databases, and mobile DevOps.
Have a proven track record of leading, mentoring, and growing engineers.
Have expertise in cloud-based SaaS architectures and evolutionary design.
Be familiar with agile, DevOps, CI/CD, observability and tracing, and data- and metrics-based decision-making.
Be available during core hours of 9:30 AM–5:00 PM CT.

Lead the mobile team and its continued maturity and evolution in the AI-native space.
Establish an AI-native mobile development process using agents, evaluations, and review loops.
Drive a thin-client architecture that moves business logic to the backend.
Contribute Python to the AI backend service when mobile needs new capabilities.
Set direction for the participant API and broader participant platform.
Support the product team and lead self-directed platform improvements.
Improve processes across the mobile team and partner teams.
Mentor engineers and help evolve the Engineering organization.
Improve the Continuous Delivery pipeline and operational aspects of the SaaS and mobile platform.
Participate in organizational security and compliance efforts.
