Requirements
- Have 3+ years of commercial experience in backend development with Python.
- Have experience building application service layers and a good grasp of clean architecture and API design.
- Have hands-on experience with FastAPI.
- Have experience with Temporal or another workflow orchestration tool.
- Have practical experience building AI agents and agentic workflows; GitHub Agentic Workflows experience is preferred.
- Have experience working with Azure.
- Communicate fluently in English and collaborate across international teams.
- Work independently and take initiative in moving work forward.
- Bring strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to technical challenges.
- Have a genuine interest in emerging AI technologies.
- Core LLM concepts such as prompt and context engineering, tool calling, RAG, and evaluation are nice to have.
- Experience with MCP servers, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Terraform or Bicep, and testing frameworks such as pytest is nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Design and build application service layers using Python and FastAPI.
- Develop AI agents and agentic workflows, including workflows based on GitHub Agentic Workflows.
- Build durable and reliable workflow orchestration with Temporal.
- Integrate AI agents with backend services, APIs, and external systems.
- Deploy and run solutions on Azure.
- Ensure backend services are performant, reliable, and maintainable.
- Translate business requirements into technical tasks and deliver features end-to-end.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to documentation and best practices.
- Explore emerging AI technologies and propose solution and architecture improvements.
