Requirements
- Have 5-6 years of professional experience in public relations or a communications-related field.
- Bring solid media relationships and a proven track record of media results.
- Have strong planning and project management skills.
- Be able to run accounts with little hand holding.
- Demonstrate strong writing skills and the ability to develop pitches, press releases, and PR plans.
- Deliver client-ready written materials.
- Team leadership and direct-report supervision experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead client accounts and oversee account teams.
- Manage account budgets, resources, and team capacity to support profitability.
- Conduct market assessments and develop communications and PR strategies.
- Structure and grow budgets, and write PR plans.
- Interact with client contacts ranging from day-to-day marketing contacts to CEOs.
- Manage and mentor junior staff, including supporting their professional development.
- Identify and lead new business opportunities.
- Participate in proposal development and learn to lead pitches from start to finish.
