Requirements
- Have 2+ years of experience at a communications agency or start-up technology company, focused on PR, social media, or digital marketing.
- Write across multiple formats, including bylines, pitches, and social content.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
- Bring media relations experience, including impactful placements and proactive storytelling.
- Manage projects, stay organized, and work across multiple projects and competing timelines.
- Follow news and media trends and have an interest in innovation and technology.
- Collaborate reliably and manage and communicate information effectively.
- Demonstrate direct, inclusive interpersonal communication skills.
- Produce reliable, high-quality work in fast-paced environments.
- Experience integrating earned media efforts with digital marketing campaigns is a plus.
- Diverse work samples demonstrating integrated communications goals, including placements, social campaigns, and thought leadership, are encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Execute integrated media relations, executive communications, and technical and digital storytelling programs for clients.
- Develop new and existing storytelling opportunities across client accounts.
- Research and write bylines and concise media pitches.
- Build relationships with media contacts and identify proactive media opportunities.
- Develop and write thought leadership content for executives.
- Manage work across client teams while balancing competing priorities and objectives.
- Support social media strategies and influencer marketing campaigns to amplify brand narratives.
- Share knowledge with new teammates and guide day-to-day work.
