Requirements
- At least five years of professional software development experience, including substantial hands-on full-stack development.
- Strong practical expertise in Python and Flask, building and maintaining production backend applications and services.
- Experience with SQLAlchemy, Alembic, PostgreSQL data modelling, schema migrations, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and modern CSS/SCSS, with experience building responsive and accessible interfaces.
- Experience with Vue 2 and Vue 3, including class components, Pinia, and Nuxt 3.
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs, working with JSON Schema, and applying API design principles.
- Practical experience with GCP, particularly Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Build.
- Experience building and deploying Docker-based containerized applications and microservices, with an understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Google Cloud Build, supported by automated testing.
- Experience with asynchronous messaging, event-driven integrations, and CloudEvents.
- Experience implementing authentication and authorization solutions such as Keycloak and JWT.
- Experience writing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests using pytest and Vitest.
- Experience working in Agile development environments, participating in iterative delivery, technical discussions, and code reviews.
- Ability to document technical solutions, share knowledge, and support the development of other engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Python, Flask, Vue.js, Nuxt, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Build responsive, accessible interfaces using HTML5 and CSS/SCSS.
- Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, and Alembic.
- Design and maintain PostgreSQL databases on Google Cloud SQL, including data modelling, migrations, and query optimization.
- Build, containerize, deploy, and maintain microservices on Google Cloud Platform.
- Implement asynchronous messaging and event-driven communication using Google Cloud Pub/Sub and CloudEvents.
- Implement authentication and authorization using Keycloak and JSON Web Tokens.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated unit and integration tests using GitHub Actions, Google Cloud Build, pytest, and Vitest.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical design, Agile delivery, code reviews, documentation, and legacy system modernization.
- Mentor development teams and support knowledge transfer.
