Requirements
- Experience managing software delivery in an Agile environment.
- Federal program experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with VA.gov platform conventions or similar federal digital services is a plus.
- Strong facilitation skills.
- Ability to work across disciplines and translate between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to create structure and clarity in ambiguous situations.
- Experience with project and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers and engineering teams to plan, prioritize, and deliver software on schedule.
- Facilitate standups, sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives, and sprint demos.
- Track delivery progress, surface risks early, and keep stakeholders informed and aligned.
- Break product initiatives into actionable, well-scoped engineering work.
- Collaborate with Product Owners on roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and release planning.
- Coordinate dependencies across teams in the VA.gov ecosystem.
- Write reports and updates about the value delivered to clients and leadership.
- Foster accountability, clear communication, and continuous improvement within the team.
