Requirements
- Have 4+ years building data science or data engineering systems that have shipped, rather than only notebooks.
- Have strong Python skills.
- Have strong SQL skills.
- Be comfortable working with large datasets and handling joins, deduplication, and skew at scale.
- Have a solid grasp of clustering, graph/network analysis, or entity resolution.
- Validate results rather than only producing them.
- Reason about precision-versus-coverage trade-offs and defend metrics.
- Be able to scope ambiguous problems, obtain the data independently, and drive the work to a result.
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and ship clustering and attribution heuristics, measuring them with precision and coverage metrics.
- Pull, clean, join, and model large on-chain datasets.
- Build and maintain pipelines that move heuristics from notebooks to production, including backfills, incremental runs, and validation.
- Investigate edge cases such as mixers, bridges, exchange hot wallets, and consolidation patterns.
- Translate investigation findings into repeatable logic.
- Partner with investigations and product teams to define correctness and benchmark against ground truth.
- Prototype quickly and harden successful approaches.
