Requirements
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience leading and managing M&A deals.
- Have experience sourcing deals, including a retained network of contacts into industry sectors.
- Have negotiation skills and experience closing deals.
- Be able to analyze balance sheets and P&L statements.
- Be able to liaise effectively with shareholders of prospective companies, the investment committee in Japan, and due diligence resources.
- Be able to work autonomously.
Responsibilities
- Source M&A opportunities and use a retained network of contacts in relevant industry sectors.
- Lead and manage deals from origination and sourcing through to closure.
- Negotiate deals and support successful deal closure.
- Analyze balance sheets, P&L statements and other financial information.
- Liaise with shareholders of prospective companies.
- Liaise with the investment committee in Japan.
- Coordinate with due diligence resources engaged for each deal.
