Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in general accounting, financial management, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience compiling, modeling, interpreting, and analyzing financial data to identify trends, explain variances, and influence business decisions.
- Ability to use financial information to support operational performance, strategic planning, budgeting, and business improvement.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and recommend practical solutions.
- Working knowledge of departmental, segment-level, and organizational strategies.
- Experience presenting financial results and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple analytical assignments with strong organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work remotely from a dedicated, secure workspace with reliable internet of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
- Willingness to travel periodically to designated offices for meetings, training, and collaboration.
- Preferred: Master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Preferred: Experience in technology finance, including evaluating technology investments, business cases, and ROI.
- Preferred: Project management certification or relevant project management experience.
Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, and analyze financial data and economic indicators for strategic planning, operational decisions, budgeting, capital expenditures, and investment evaluations.
- Develop and enhance financial models, forecasts, and reports to assess performance, identify trends, and explain financial variances.
- Present financial findings, performance metrics, and recommendations to senior management through weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
- Evaluate industry developments, economic conditions, financial indicators, and market trends to forecast the organization's financial position.
- Deliver data-driven insights on expenses, investments, cost management, and business performance to support strategy.
- Partner with technology leadership to develop and evaluate business cases and assess return on investment for technology initiatives.
- Advise senior stakeholders on strategic financial matters and translate analyses into clear recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve analytical methods, financial modeling, planning, and reporting.
