Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Have 7+ years of extensive Java software development experience.
Have experience with Java EE, Hibernate, and RDBMS; PostgreSQL is preferred.
Have experience with HTML, CSS, and modern web frameworks; Angular is preferred.
Have experience with search engines; Elasticsearch is preferred.
Have infrastructure-as-code experience; AWS CloudFormation is preferred.
Have testing experience; JUnit and Selenium are preferred.
Have experience managing offshore development teams.
Have 3+ years of extensive DevSecOps (CI/CD) experience.
Have experience with Scrum and QA activities.
Have experience working with cloud platforms and AWS.
Be fluent in English.
Be able to work the European schedule.

Manage the software development team and provide architectural expertise, direction, and assistance.
Coordinate with the Lisbon business team and technical teams to ensure the system is designed, implemented, maintained, and supported appropriately.
Manage iterative, agile development and deliver working builds for feedback at the end of each sprint.
Ensure alignment with technical standards and procedures, including ICTD, CICD, and CMU.
Plan and manage development team work using the internal JIRA application.
Deliver the new IT system in production, including back-office, front-office, public search website, notifications, and storage components.
Integrate with the IP Portal for CX functionalities, including Alerts & Messages, Navbar, and Widgets.
Create and follow up on JIRA tasks and provide regular status updates.
Document functional, technical, and transition-to-operations work.
