Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Have 5+ years of experience working with Java and the Spring framework.
- Have experience performing software quality assurance activities, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing and peer reviews.
- Have knowledge and experience with iterative/agile project delivery methods.
- Be able to work normal European office hours.
- Be able to start on 1 July.
- Knowledge of Amazon AWS development environments is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Develop new and expand existing web-based functionalities.
- Use object-oriented design principles and software design patterns to support reusability and maintainability.
- Implement detailed application designs provided by the System/Solution Architect.
- Follow version control, build and release processes, and coding standards.
- Participate in design and code walkthroughs, review feedback, and update design and code artifacts.
- Maintain technical documentation for development tasks.
- Perform unit and integration tests and resolve resulting issues and bugs.
- Work with the architect to develop business systems using the Java/J2EE framework.
- Communicate project status, issues, and risks to project team members.
- Maintain existing applications and respond to user support and enhancement requests.
