Requirements
- Have 8+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML, or solutions architecture.
- Have a strong track record designing and shipping production-grade systems.
- Bring recent hands-on experience architecting LLM or multi-agent systems.
- Have deep hands-on experience with agent orchestration, tool and function calling, state management, and retrieval.
- Be expert in Python or an equivalent language.
- Have experience with API and connector design and typed tool and interface design.
- Have experience with modern data stores such as PostgreSQL.
- Have designed end-to-end systems connecting data pipelines, model services, business logic, and user-facing applications under operational constraints.
- Have experience designing guardrails, approval gates, auditability, and traceability for high-stakes, document-heavy domains.
- Have practical experience taking sandbox or prototype systems to production, including performance, monitoring, deployment, and rollback.
- Be comfortable using LLM code assistants and agentic engineering in fast, hypothesis-driven delivery cycles.
Responsibilities
- Design and own the orchestrator agent, deal state machine, specialist-agent routing, stage handoffs, and cross-stage integration.
- Design the typed tool layer for template population, market-data queries, financial analytics, clause extraction, and document assembly.
- Define mandatory approval gates and review checkpoints, ensuring binding legal or financial actions require broker confirmation.
- Own the sandbox data model and test scenarios, and define data residency, PII handling, audit logging, and zero-retention policies.
- Validate automation feasibility stage by stage and translate automation boundaries into the system architecture.
- Design for extension to Agency (Landlord Rep) workflows and other brokerage lines without rebuilding the platform.
- Lead and direct AI/ML Engineers through build phases, managing orchestration and cross-stage integration.
