Requirements
- Have at least 5 years of experience in applied AI, natural language processing, or computer vision.
- Have proven experience designing and implementing multimodal pipelines integrating vision, speech, and text models.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Python.
- Have experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Have strong experience with production LLM orchestration and structured output tools, including DSPy, Instructor, Pydantic, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
- Have hands-on experience fine-tuning and serving open-source models using vLLM, TGI, or comparable high-throughput inference engines.
- Have experience with vector databases such as Qdrant, pgvector, or Pinecone.
- Have experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures at scale.
- Be able to establish technical best practices and make architectural decisions.
- Be able to mentor junior developers.
Responsibilities
- Design and build automated ingestion pipelines combining computer vision, speech-to-text technologies such as Whisper, and large language models.
- Develop programmatic extraction frameworks that produce consistent, validated JSON outputs.
- Transition workloads from commercial AI APIs to fine-tuned open-source models.
- Deploy open-source models through local or high-throughput inference engines.
- Implement data-centric AI techniques and frameworks to automate large-scale labeling and improve noisy dataset quality.
- Define architectural roadmaps and establish engineering standards.
- Guide junior developers in building robust, maintainable AI systems.
- Support AI-driven enrichment workflows and retrieval systems for large volumes of unstructured content.
