Languages: Exceptional English language skills
Experience: 2+ years of virtual assistant support for a U.S.-based medical practice

Have 2+ years of virtual assistant support experience for a U.S.-based medical practice.
Have experience handling phone workflows, scheduling, verification, and remote physician collaboration.
Have recent, hands-on experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW); outdated eCW experience will not be considered.
Bring operational knowledge of HMO and PPO plans, deductibles, prior authorizations, commercial payers, and Medicare.
Have strong clinical nursing experience.
Demonstrate exceptional English language skills and a professional phone demeanor.
Be able to build rapport with patients and address benefit questions.
Be available full time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm EST.

Manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls, including callbacks for missed calls and new inquiries.
Re-engage inactive patients and follow up on no-shows.
Build rapport, address patient hesitation, answer benefit questions, and convert inquiries into scheduled appointments.
Document every patient interaction in the EHR.
Verify coverage status, effective dates, copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and out-of-pocket maximums.
Distinguish HMO, PPO, commercial, Medicare, Workers' Compensation, and PIP policies to determine patient financial responsibility.
Identify and coordinate referral and prior authorization requirements before visits.
Verify in-network and out-of-network benefits and policy limitations.
Manage physician calendars and confirm, schedule, and reschedule visits using eClinicalWorks.
Liaise with referring physician offices, attorneys, and medical-legal contacts.
