Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree.
- Have at least 10 years of experience in indirect procurement and strategic sourcing, with deep expertise in Facilities categories.
- Demonstrate experience developing sourcing strategies for complex Facilities categories and leading large-scale sourcing events.
- Have a strong background in supplier negotiations.
- Have experience interfacing with clients or stakeholders at all organizational levels, especially in a services industry.
- Demonstrate expertise in TCO modeling and data-driven decision-making.
- Have experience driving change management and building cross-functional consensus.
- Have experience identifying and implementing value engineering and specification optimization recommendations.
- Have strong knowledge of supplier ecosystems serving Facilities categories.
- Be proficient in MS Office, including Excel for analysis and PowerPoint for presentations.
- Demonstrate leadership, people-management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Be able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and adapt to a changing environment.
- Be available for less than 10% travel.
Responsibilities
- Own Facilities strategy planning and sourcing delivery for assigned Retail accounts.
- Develop and refresh account roadmaps with category leads, defining initiatives, savings objectives, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of sourcing professionals, including training, mentoring, quality assurance, and workload coordination.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies across Facilities categories, including HVAC, Janitorial/EVS, Waste Management, Safety & Security Services, Utilities, and Skilled Trades.
- Own end-to-end RFP execution, including data gathering, RFP development, proposal evaluation, supplier negotiations, and results presentation.
- Apply total cost of ownership modeling to evaluate supplier proposals and support client award decisions and contracting.
- Develop cost-reduction strategies through value engineering and demand optimization.
- Monitor spend, supplier performance, and savings targets at category and sub-category levels.
- Research supplier capabilities and market trends, facilitate client-supplier communication, and manage supplier ecosystems.
