Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in indirect procurement and strategic sourcing, with deep expertise in Facilities categories.
- Experience developing sourcing strategies for complex Facilities categories and leading large-scale sourcing events.
- Strong background in supplier negotiations.
- Experience interfacing with clients or stakeholders at all organizational levels, especially in a services industry.
- Expertise in total cost of ownership (TCO) modeling and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience driving change management and building cross-functional consensus.
- Experience identifying and implementing value engineering and specification optimization recommendations.
- Strong knowledge of supplier ecosystems serving Facilities categories.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel for analysis and PowerPoint for presentations.
- Demonstrated leadership and people-management ability, with skill in interpreting complex data and translating insights into business recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities; minimal travel required.
Responsibilities
- Own Facilities strategy planning and sourcing delivery for assigned Healthcare accounts, aligning account roadmaps with the sub-vertical strategy.
- Partner with category leads to develop and refresh account roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives with defined scope, savings objectives, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of sourcing professionals, including project assignments, training, mentoring, and quality assurance.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies across Facilities categories, including HVAC, Janitorial/EVS, Waste Management, Safety & Security Services, Utilities, and Skilled Trades.
- Own end-to-end RFP execution, from data gathering and RFP development through proposal evaluation, supplier negotiations, results presentation, and support for award decisions and contracting.
- Apply total cost of ownership modeling to evaluate supplier proposals and develop cost-reduction strategies, including value engineering and demand optimization.
- Monitor spend, supplier performance, savings targets, and delivery risks; conduct research and analytics to validate savings projections.
- Engage client stakeholders and suppliers, review major contracts, and facilitate category execution and delivery.
