Requirements
- Have 5+ years of directly relatable work experience.
- Bring experience in strategic finance, FP&A, corporate development, investment banking, private equity or venture capital, management consulting, or a high-growth company.
- Use advanced Excel or Google Sheets modeling skills.
- Have strong accounting and systems knowledge.
- Apply strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem solving.
- Understand consumer subscription or FinTech business models and metrics such as CAC, LTV, retention, cohort analysis, and ARPU.
- Build bespoke financial models and synthesize complex analyses through strong data visualization.
- Influence across functions and levels and present recommendations to executives.
- Demonstrate business curiosity, strategic thinking, ownership, adaptability, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with business leaders, understand their needs, and act as a liaison with executive management.
- Create financial models, scenario analyses, and market insights for product, engineering, marketing, and commercial sales teams.
- Analyze actual financial results against budgets and forecasts and provide actionable decision support.
- Support investor relations and corporate development, including peer benchmarking and evaluation of partnerships, investments, and acquisition targets.
- Own or contribute to forecasting, budgeting, resource allocation, and annual and long-range planning.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close processes and audit support.
