Requirements
- Four-year college degree.
- Five years of experience in the beverage and/or CPG industry.
- Representation and sales experience with a successful history in Southeast markets.
- Experience using syndicated data sources such as IRI, Nielsen, or SPINS.
- Knowledge of beverage category distribution and product delivery logistics.
- Experience building, presenting, and implementing programs.
- Knowledge of managing a growing brand across conventional, natural, club, and convenience channels.
- Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Computer skills including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Valid driver’s license and untarnished driving record; able to travel by car and stay away multiple nights at least once per month.
- Able to work flexible hours and weekends as travel and events require.
Responsibilities
- Build distribution for priority packages and create distribution goals across retailer accounts.
- Ensure assigned account schematics meet Zevia standards for product flow and package mix.
- Sell the optimum price program using available tools and best practices.
- Create annual Customer Marketing Agreements and manage associated account funds.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews covering business performance, competition, and opportunities.
- Provide category insights and recommend changes to promotion, pricing, or display practices.
- Develop and manage promotional trade spend with retailers.
- Provide territory forecasting and planning input.
- Train and support distributor representatives and participate in distributor trade shows as needed.
